Running Carbon

My tank had been slowing clouding for about a week and a half. Other than Alk being a little low, all parameters were in check (at least the one's I have tests for).:
SG- 1.025
pH- 8.3
Ca- 440ppm
Alk- 130mg/L (2.6mEq/L)
Ammonia- No reading
Nitrate- No reading
Nitrite- No reading

Started running ChemiPure 2 days ago and the cloudiness has subsided. Still some particles in the water, but the cloudiness is gone. My question is that the ChemiPure sprayed some carbon dust across the aquarium (parts of sand and live rock are darker with black carbon dust). Is this a problem? Do I need to do anything to get this carbon out of the display tank, or will my skimmer continue to generate black skimmate until the carbon is all gone? I rinsed the ChemiPure bags as directed, but I guess you can't get all of it...

Did you rinse off the bag of carbon before putting it in your aquarium?

Do a water change and test for nitrate and nitrite.

I rinsed. Directions said "rinse lightly", but I rinsed for a while as there was a lot of debris coming out of the bags. Nitrate and nitrite read 0. I'm assuming it was a bacteria bloom. I'm not overfeeding, nothing has died, and haven't seen a reading on Ammonia, Nitrates, or Nitrites yet.
