I am wondering what the best way to run my ballast would be. I have the Profilux 2 EX in my sump room in the basement. My ballast are upstairs some 40 feet away. What would be the best option to run these. I am not interested in the Light controller as I want to have everything on one controller so I can monitor and make changes when I am away. I am going to be running My Tunze 6100's by buying the appropriate adaptor and running some telephone wire to the basement. I want to run whatever wire I need for the lights and the Tunze controls this week so I can repair the holes I made in the system. I have 3 x 250 watt MH and 2 x 110 VHO actinics. Any one have any thoughts. I was thinking the easiest fix is to buy a Digital Powerbar and run a cable to the basement connecting it to the controller. Is this possible is there a better way?
