Sacrificial frags

I remember reading a TOTM article about how the tank owner would use sacrificial SPS frags in a quarantine tank to attract potential pests as a way to test whether the incoming coral contains red bugs/flat worms or not. I thought that was interesting. Anyone has a suggestion on which coral best used for this purpose? I am thinking something that's easy to propagate in the DT, relatively inexpensive, and also needs to have good color contrast with the pests so that it would make it easy to spot them.
