Safest way to remove yellow polyps

As you can see, I need to remove these yellow polyps. I made the mistake when I first started my tank to add these. Now they are a pain in the butt.

What is the safest way to remove them? I started to use a tweezers to remove them which works well but sometimes I see small pieces float away and I am worried about that. I also tried a bit of kalk paste but that gets messy. I don't mind the pain staking time it takes to remove them one by one so I am asking for the safest way to remove them rather then the fastest. Any advice is appreciated.

I just use the long nosed syringe from a Salfert test kit with kalk. I tried the picking with tweezers and a toothbrush too, but like you mentioned pieces float everywhere and that toxic cloud goes up.

Get a small angel that feed on polyps... I know flames will eat them, sometimes pygmy's...... lemon peel will defintely eat them.... but when they decimate the yellow polyp population you will have to catch and remove or they will start eating acro polyps!!!

I will trade you mine for yours. ;) I hate yellow polyps.

Yea, mine dosen't have any "help", but s/he sure has a taste for clarkii
eggs.

Try putting kalk on it using a syringe and then scrub them with a toothbrush. Then siphon it out as soon as possible. Be sure your skimmer is on and that you have carbon. Could possibly work.
