Howdy fellow babies
The SLSC has a nice tank that SLASH helped set up a year or so ago, it's 48"x48" cubish tank if I remember correctly. It's pretty decked out with technology, but it doesn't have much in the way of corals and they have a very limited budget. What I'd like to propose, is if anyone that has some extra softy frags or colonies, who plans to attend our next Pizza Night, if they would be willing to bring them out that night.
Matt from Docs Eco Eggs is going to go out there the following morning for some follow up with their feeding system and he will stock the tank up with whatever SLASH members can donate. The tank is primarily live rock and some algae at present. It sounds like they need a clean up crew as well, but stocking the tank with easy soft corals would go a long way to getting the tank going strong. I'll bring a coral for the frags so Matt can keep everything oxygenated overnight, the bigger the bag and the more water, the better.
See you next Thursday at Saltwater Island and Faraci's Pizza
