Hi,
Does the sally foot crab is really reef safe? Can it eat small fish? is it a goos idea to put a small one in my 110g reef tank? is it aggressive?
Thanks!

On the most part it is but it did eat both of my pepperment shrimp. It grows very fast, mines up to 3" across in 6 months.

I would never put one in my reef. I worked at a LFS and just observing them in the store's tanks was enough to make me steer clear. They're fast, not at all picky about what they eat (so I just wouldn't trust one to stay away from corals, fish or other inverts) and as SCR said they grow quickly. I also think they're creepy looking... I wouldn't want to see one scuttling around the rockwork in my tank like a big spider *shudder*

I love the way they look, but i have had at least a dozen peppermint shrimp disappear as well as a couple of smaller fish, they are going to get banished to the sump as soon as reaquascape my tank and get them out.
One of my favorite crabs though, just not in a reef
