Salt Order

Petsolutions is having a salt sale. I checked, and it looks like the max shipping total is $16.99 no matter how many buckets you order. I added 25 buckets of salt just to see what happens and the total shipping was $16.99.

I figure I am going to order 4 buckets or so of salt.

Let me know if anyone wants to go in on this and place an order. We can all split the shipping cost. It doesn't look like it matters what brand we order so we can all order different brands.

If I know you, you can pay me when you pick it up, otherwise you will have to pay me in advance.

I live near South Hills Village and you will have to pick them up at my house.

I am going to place the order on Friday.

Reply to this post if you want anything.

Here are the prices for the large buckets:

Tropic Marin $59.99
Tropic Marin Pro $69.99
Reef Crystals $32.99
Instant Ocean $29.99
Red Sea Pro Coral $41.99
Rea Sea Salt $39.99
Oceanic $48.99
Kent $44.99

I will take a bucket of the Red Sea Salt for $39.99.

Thanks

Sure, this is Jared right? Your location still says bridgeville.

Order has been placed.

This is shipping from near Dayton OH, so I expect it should be here Tuesday or Wednesday.

Shipping came to $2 per bucket.

Reef Crystals did free beach towels in their buckets like a 1.5 years ago...

Tom, is there a date on those buckets?

there is not

I just called their Customer Service department and questioned them about this.

The lady said that occasionally IO puts the towels in batches that go out. She said that they ship out so much salt that nothing sits around for more than a week.

That is not to say it didn't sit around at the factory for a long time though. Make sure you test out the water before using it.

I also take a new bucket of salt and pour it out into a few other empty buckets a few times to make sure it is mixed really well. I have heard some elements can settle in the shipping process.

thanks Ray! I didnt see this post and e mailed them.

Would the elements really settle in shipping? I NEVER thought about that....I guess it could happen...
