salt problem

i went and bought a tank this weekend and they guy gave me a free bucket of salt and when i got home it was one huge brick of salt hard a rock!! is there anythign i can do to make it back to normal

either mix the entire bucket at one time if you need that much water, or you need to break it up till it's back to a 'powder' and throughly mix it again.

well a new bucket of salt is about 35 bucks, is it worth that to you to break it up
