I want to add more sand to my tanks, I am planning on going to HD or Lowe’s, any guidance on what to buy or not buy?

I bought pure white silica, designed for sandblasting or use with stone pavers. The brand I got was Stone Mason, but there are quite a few types that are basically the same thing. It's extremely fine, and looks exactly like granulated sugar once in the tank. It was super clean right out of the bag (I didn't even rinse it) and cost me about $7.50 (CD) per 50lb bag. I'm very happy with it, the denitrification is fantastic. You can see a pic of my 65g just after adding the sand in my gallery, that's about 80lbs of sand, which gave me 2-3" overall.

I got play sand from Lowes, it's silica based. and koolorscape step 1 from Lowes too is not fine grain but it's argonite I have a mix of both. So far everything is going good.
