Sand for large reef

Anyone know where on LI I can get southdown playsand for my tank? I am in the process of setting up a 525 gallon reef and I need about 1,000 lbs. I live in East Northport LI so I can pretty much go east or west in the same amount of time.

well they dont make southdown persay anymore. what your looking for is kolarscape(what i have), dolorite(spelling?) and theres a couple more.
the bag has to say produced by old castle and then i believe it is all set to go.
i got mine at me local home depot.

Kevin, I'm not sure kolorscape is 100% aragonite.

I have it too, and it works great, but I'm not sure it's identical to what southdown was.

I did pick up 1200 lbs of kolorscape from the home depot that is not officially opened yet right off of Commack road in Commack, only a few miles from me. No other home depot had it and I got lucky. This store opened this past Wednesday at 5 pm and the grand opening is on the 4th. So nobody knows it is open yet.
