Howdy,
So, I added the live rock and sand to my 29 gallon tank two days ago. As one can imagine, the live sand caused a dust storm in my aquarium. I let it settle yesterday and today after it had mostly cleared up, I took a turkey baster to try and gently dust the sand off the live rock and level the sound out the way I want it. As one can imagine again, it's cloudy as hell again.
My questions are these...A) Is there a better way to go about the sand situation? B) Can I go ahead and begin the dead shrimp cycle to get the process started, even if there is a dust storm going?
Thanks
