Anything from the same genus as the diamond goby (Valenciennea) will sift sand well. The other common one is the gold head sleeper goby. The problem with them is they tend to make more of a mess by swimming up into the water with mouthfuls of sand and dumping it everywhere.
Nothing else will sift as well as Valenciennea gobies in my experience.
