Sand sifting critters

Would you guys recomend the Nassarius snail? Is it good to have it in the tank and is it good to have the sand stirred?

Yep, I highly recommend them for sand stirring and general substrate maintenance.

Awesome snails. Not only do they keep things clean, they tend to be aggressive enough to let me know which invert is sick.
That's a mixed bag.

But real fun to watch when food is put in the tank that they can reach, like a bit of krill.

best addition to my tank.... they do alot of work cleaning up the left overs on the sand bed and stir the sand up really great.

some times living in canda sucks 3.99-1.99 seems like such a rip off. and only 74$ for a fire shrimp!

$0.10? Are you sure they are real nassarius snails and not their distant cousin?
