sargassum in the tanks?

anyone had experience with Sargassum in their tank? I am considering a couple of clumps for a SH tanks.

No experience with it, but from what I've read finding a source for it can be tough. It also prefers bright light which may not be preferable for the seahorses. Let some others chime in and see what they say.

I've got some that hitchhiked. It grows very quickly but it's easy to remove any excess from the tank. I remove about a gallon of it every week or two.

The species I have is under T5s, but I gave some long strands to a buddy with PC lighting and it seems to grow fine although not as fast.

I have no experiences with Sea Horses, though.
