Sargassum trigger: Reef safe?

I heard of them being coral safe, and small fish safe, and I heard they're the most peaceful trigger out there. But I was wondering if they'll still eat my crabs and shrimps. I've been wanting one for some time now, but if he'll eat my inverts, then it's a no-go.

You'll probably lose a snail or crab every so often, and any shrimp you add after the trigger is established is lunch, but other than that I would do it. Beautiful fish.

I had one in a reef a while ago. And like stated earlier any invert that was established before I purchased the trigger seemed fine. Anything introduced after the trigger was lunch.

Also he was a very aggressive eater so I was never really comfortable with him in the tank. I always felt like it was just a matter of time till he took a couple fish and the existing inverts out.

Somewhat hit or miss. My bj's (not exactly the same fish) never harmed inverts or coral, or other fish (well, almost. they nipped at a watchman goby that liked to swim around right before the lights went out one day, but never bothered him again.).

They would play a game with the hermits. Pick them all up and put them in a pile, then watch them crawl away. It was kind of funny...

I've heard other stories where they decimated peoples hermits and snails. Always add new livestock at night. While they are awake, they consider anything that hits the water food.
