Actually.....not so little at all! He's at least 3 inches.
I have to tell you, I am enjoying him. He's such a cool little critter! And SMART!!
I now know where his lair is and can likely get him out whenever I like by removing his rock. He really doesn't venture too far from his hole in his rock at all during the day.
I did witness a murder today though. I gotta tell ya... it was kinda cool! The Mantis was in his hole, head sticking out looking around and watching me watch him. All of a sudden... I notice a nudi < tiny one> crawling down the overflow next to Mr. Mantis' lair. He watched it for a moment and slowly, slowly, came out of his hole < that's when I realized how long he really was> and then he grabbed it and ran back down his hole.
If I had a tank I could set up for this guy I would. He's actually very cool. But there's no way I'm going to set up another tank right now.
