sch80 pvc vs sch40 pvc

Can anyone tell me if sch80 pvc muffles the sound of running water better than sch40 pvc????

yes it would....same OD as 40pvc...thicker wall... smaller ID so keep this in mind when choosing pipe diameter.

have u tried wrapping the pipes w/ foam insulation ....???
