School of Damsels?

I was wondering if I could do this on a smaller scale. Possibly 20 blue damsels. They would be with a porc puff, pic trig, and a blenny. Just seeing if anyone else has had success doing this or if I'll still end up with 3 damsels in a year.

It would look cool, but it may be a bit much for your tank and they would start picking one by one off till you ended up with afew. Cool looking video though

Kinda figured that. Thought that if you had a lot they might not be able to pick up a territory, or something along those lines.

I had 6 in a 125 with a volitan and some other lions to help provide some movement. It's been a few months and I'm down to 5 (pretty sure I lost the first one within an hour of putting them in). They'll probably get eaten one day, but until then its neat to have.

It may happen quick or it may take 2 years, but they will kill each other off for sure.

That is if the puffer doesn't get big enough to eat them first.

If you were going to do this with damsels i suggest that you use yellow tail damsels. They are not as aggressive.

I gotta admit, watching ALL the damsels swim to the same corner of the tank was really awesome
