Schooling bannerfish sores

I received 3 schooling bannerfish Tue. and they all went into my QT. Unfortunately, 1 day later I noticed some strange "sores" on one of the fish so I figured I would wait and watch the fish to see if it was some sore of infection or if it wold get better. The next morning I found it upside down in the QT.
2 days later, one of the other two bannerfish started showing signs of an infection... I have attached some pictures. I have also started Maracyn Plus. From the pictures below, is this the correct course of action or should I be using something else? I started the meds last night, but this morning I noticed what appeared to be another very tiny open sore starting to form.

Maracyn Plus will also wipe out my biological filter as well, correct? (The tank has been cycled for 7-8 months now). It is simply bare bottom with some PVC pieces and a seachem ammonia alert in the tank.

More than one fish getting similar infections is very unusual. This may be a parasite, uronema. I'd Google it, include images, and see if that makes sense.

Thanks MrTuskFish.
This thread here seems to pin point EXACTLY what is occurring!

The first fish that died looked EXACTLY like the following picture that this guy mentions.

Notice the little white patch on the black stripe on the top of the bannerfish.
The consensus here was not very clear either... unfortunately.
I currently have PraziPro, Cupramine, and Marcyn Plus in my arsenal. It almost sounds like, if it is uronema, formalin is needed... Where can I buy formalin?

On another note... this is exactly why I QT all fish now and thank goodness I have 2 QT tanks (I have a cbb in the other which will not be infected).

Would a freshwater dip help?
Do a 100% wc, freshwater dip on both fish in the QT and place cupramine in there. I'm not sure if the cupramine would do anything, however. Suggestions?

Formalin used to be common, it might be hard to find now. Pet Solutions was one online vendor that still has it, last time I looked. It would have to be overnighted to help. there are a couple of meds (for ich, but they don't cure ich) that contain formalin and another ingredient; you may have to do some math to get the proper dosage of formalin. Any decent LFS should have something.
A FW dip might give some temporary relief, I just don't know.
Amen to the QT comments!

It looks like this disease is pretty fast developing from what I have read. Overnighting something wouldn't be here until Tue, unfortunately. Do you know if you can use Maracyn Plus with Cupramine at the same time? I'm wondering if my odds are better with the Maracyn Plus (assuming it turns out to be bacterial and not uronema) or using cupramine...
Some posts have stated that cupramine can be used (copper sulfate). Noteably this page http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/disease/uronemamarinum.php

I've seen several posts from folks who have used copper and an antibiotic together; I just don't know the answer. I do know that tech people from SeaChem, and other good companies, advise against it. IMO, I'd never use the two together.
