Scolymia looks like ball

this morning when i went to go look at the tank i noticed my Scolymia looked like a perfect ball is this normal?

anyone ever seen this before or is mean there is a problem

I have had the same thing happen to mine and it has always been the a problume with water perameters (hence the reason that I like it because at a glance it will tell me if anything is wrong in my tank)
