There's always hope that it will make it through and grow into a fine specimen. Here's what I'd do:
1. No intense lighting regardless whether it's PCs, VHOs or MHs;
2. If a mouth is visible try feeding it with a small silverside or brine shrimp soaked in Selcon (soak either brine or silversides for 5-10 mins before feeding) - feed one at a time
3. Make sure no detritus settles on exposed wounds (flesh) or skeleton - use a turkey baster to blow it off;
4. Keep it in moderate current;
5. Keep your water parameters in check - without any huge adjustments. If you need to adjust Alk or Ca or whatever do it over several diluted doses as opposed to one.
Good luck and keep us posted.
