What do you guys think, picked that up the other day, the store didnt even know what it was!

Looks like a scoly but its not opened up yet in my tank... its normally alot bigger! :)

looks like it could be a scoly.try to get it to feed and in no time it should look alt better as long as it gets what it needs, food, good water, lighting etc etc.

ahhhh help needed, I came home today to find some of the flesh from the front of it missing... and the potters angel having a pick at it!! :(

i've moved it out of the way of the fish and placed in a tank with low flow and lowish light... just hoping it will make it, as im really really not wanting to lose this piece! :(

i've tried to feed it brine shrimp it doesnt look as though its taking it... any ideas?

Well it's not a Scoly unless scoly's encrust liverock like the one in the pic & judging by the egg crate it could easily be a blasto.

im not sure it is... i'd have to turn it over to take a look... The base actually seems to be part of the coral...

yes, you are correct in saying that but the coral flesh covers the "live rock", and the ridges are part of the "live rock" I think this is the skeleton, not live rock... and yes it has some coriline algea on it... :)
