Thats my tank (Figured I'd show the video first before I ask my questions)
Observation # 1 - I added a Spotted Rabbit Fish which took a liking to nibbling on my SCOLY and TRACHY's only.
I removed him before he could do any real damage and they seem to be just starting to open again. I heard
that those corals take a long time to recover if they are bothered. Is this true or should I be taking
more steps like removing them to my frag tank under T5's for recovery?
Observation # 2 - All of my acans are on the sand bed. None are loosing any color but some don't fully open up. (Rainbows Particularly)
while others look like their polyps are full open but not fat and fluffy. Almost like when you see a ZOO "reach" towards the light..
Am I to think they may not be getting enough light?
Lighting is a 48" Dual SFLIGOI XR6 w/ XM250w Bulbs and 4 54w T5's + 2 48" EcoXotic LED Stunner Strips.
Observation # 3 - Is my water to clean for these guys? I'm running a ULNS system with biopellets, ROX carbon, and GFO + A Refugium
and a seriously oversized skimmer. I cannot detect any traces of anything using any test kit. (Ammonia,PO4,NIte/NAte/,) I'm thinking
of moving them into my 34 Gallon Solana that only has Anemones and 2 Fish inside. Was thinking to make it a LED driven Acan paradise.
