I just recently switched over to a bb setup and am a little worried about my scooter dragonet. I know they eat pods and micro fauna but without the sand to graze thru should I be worried?

does he eat now if hes eating he should be fine IMO

They don't eat micro fauna. Just pods. You maybe ok with a BB, as long as he is grazing from your live rocks for food. Otherwise you may need to look for a new home.

They are exactly the same as a Mandarin.

He doesn't eat prepared food. I used to see him sift through the sand all the time but I never physically saw him eat pods, although I am sure he did. He is the only fish that eats pods in the tank and I am just a little worried since he doesn't have sand to sift through now. Anybody else have any experience with this situation?
