i feed my fish once a day at the same time everynight about 9:30 ive had this tank up and running for over a year w/ the same 5 fish well 4 now the scopas tang died this morning i have left in the tank 1 very large orchid dotty back about 6" 1 6 line wrasse 1 rainfordi goby 1 sargent major damsel various mushrooms a bunch of small medium and large snails one pepermint shrimp and one brittlestar fish i just still cant think of what went wrong all my corals and everything else are fine this one fish is just bugging me now

Tangs need an almost constant supply of plant matter to graze on. They really should be fed several times a day. Maybe the fish died of malnutrition. Sorry for your loss.

nori from an asian market (it is the seaweed used for sushi) is a great food for tangs to graze on throught the day.

you can add zoecon and selcon to the nori really helps.

also feed twice a day things like formula 2 flakes are good as well and readily accepted.
