Screen covers

Going to purchase materials for a DIY screen top for my 210 and have been looking at bulk reef supplies to get either the 1/4" or 1/8" clear mesh. The smallest fish species I plan on having are Flasher Wrasses, Fairy Wrasses and a blenny or two (Midas and/or the smaller Tail Spot).

Anybody having any issues of fish of comparable size getting through the 1/4" or should I play it safe and go with the 1/8"?

None at all. It would be very hard for anything to make it through the mesh.

1/4" it is... my hesitation has been the mental picture of a wrasse stuck in it like a gill net but those concerns have been eased.
