Screen top cover fit

I'm in the process of building my screen top for my tank and I need done suggestions about how to get the best fit while allowing the powerhead cords to run out of the tank. I thought about just cutting a small hole in the netting and running the cord thru but then I have unplug it every time I want to take off the cover. The next thing I thinking about doing was cutting a small notch in the frame of the kit.

Anybody have any other ideas?

A notch to allow the wire to come out is best.

If you are making the frame, just buy extra elbows and make an indent in the frame.
