Scribble angel in an SPS reef?

you can give it a try, i have a blue face, emperor and regal in my tank with no problems.

It will be a 50/50 chance again....

some say they are fine with SPS some say they nip.

like any angel its a risk...

i have a Centropyge interruptus

i will be getting a Centropyge joculator soon in about 2 weeks

heres a link

http://www.marinecenter.com/fish/angelfish/joculatorpygmyangel/

and finally as soon as the guy that runs an online store i use for angel fish can get me a blueline angel (Chaetodontoplus septentrionalis, http://www.marinecenter.com/fish/angelfish/bluelineangel/)

i will get that too.

its a chance, but the trick i have is the guy i am getting the above from and he did the same for the interruptus is he puts the fish in with SPS.

sent PM..

I'm converting my 180 to SPS and have been researching large angels and SPS. I've spoken to many people and more than a few experts and four species seem to keep coming up as pretty safe bets, they are the emperor, blueface, Red Sea regal, and the navarchus. I think there are some other pretty safe bets as well especially in the Apolemichthys and Chaetodontoplus genus. I really wanted a meridithi but they are pretty rare and there doesn't seem to be very much info on them. I am leaning towards the majestic or blueface myself.

FWIW, they tend to come from areas of "sparse coral growth" & "even on open sand flats" & also areas heavy with sponge & softies
Sounds possible they wouldn't care for SPS. That said - none of my fish come from areas of brine shrimp, but they all love it!

Now that I think of it - I come from areas lacking lobster & crab, but some sure sounds good right now.:D

The amazing thing is I still actually HTH :)
