SCWD on a fluval 404?

Can I setup a SCWD on the return on a fluval 404 (340pgh)?

Has anyone tried this? if so, how do I connect the two?

My tank is a 33gal cubed (20.5Lx 18.5W x 23.5H).

The SCWD is good up to about 1400gph. You would run the return to the bottom of the SCWD and using 3/4'' clear tubing extend to the tank and attach to a "U" tube return.

I actually bought two of those U-Tubes along with 3/4" tubing and clamps. I just don't know how to connect the bottom of the SCWD to the fluval because the tubing on the fluval is smaller (1/2" or 5/8"? don't know). Went to home depot to look for a reducer, but couldn't find one.

Anyone help is much apreicated.

You should be able to find the reducer at HD it won't be in the pvc section look by the sump pumps it'll be made of grey plastic with barbs on each end.Nothing is ever where you'd think it would be in those stores,but the employees would be happy to wander around with you.
