Sea Cucumber and Turbo Snail question

Sea Cucumber question- I want to get a sea cucumber for my tank but was wondering what kind of substrate they need? I have arragonite (spelling?) sand in my tank but it's much bigger particle than fine sand like southdown. Will that be o.k.?

Turbo Snail Question- I recently got two turbo snails and some trochus(spelling again) snails. Three out of the five tochus dies within two days and I have no idea why, I have about 12 in my tank and they are all doing well some have been in there for almost 8 months. The other two run around my tank rather quickly. Now the Two Turbos are wierd, and they are the first ones I've ever had. The one turbo stays in one spot almost all the time, harldy ever moves and it's always at the top of the tank, I've moved him and he'll go right back there again then just chill out. The other one I never see, I mean it doesn't come out and I can't ever find it during the the day. If I shut the lights off at night and bring out the flashlight I can find it but again nothing when the lights are on. Also this morning I found the first turbo I was talking about sitting on it's back on the bottom of the tank and I figured it was dead but I put it on the glass and it's fine. Is this normal?

my trochus snails all did fine, UNTIL.... they killed themselves lol. They tend to walk out of the tank. like up to the rim and such where there is no water. The only 2 ive lost, thats how it was. I found them up there dead out of water. Usually the trochus can flip themselves back over if they fall. not sure of the turbos though.

I have a turbo that likes to crawle up to my filter then he gets on the over flow and eats all the alge of the over flowthen crawles back in to the tank.:uzi:
