Sea Hair... Reef Safe?

I was just wondering if a sea hair was reef safe

Yes. Atleast in my experience they are. I've had a few over time to clean up some hair algae and never had a problem. Except when/if it dies get it out quick because it will funk up your tank pretty bad.

yeah if they die in the tank they release all kinds of toxic stuff..I would get a Blenny first if you have a HA problem..

What kind of pumps are you using for circulation? They love to commit suicide.

First, if you are getting a sea hare, you shouldn't plan on keeping it for a long time. Most people get these because they have a ton of algae that they want rapidly removed. Once the hare runs out of food, they can starve. Trade them to someone else who has an algae problem of get credit at your lfs. Think of the one thrid credit that you will get this way, If you pay $24 for the hare and it cleans up your algae, was it worth $16? Get it, use it, pass it on....
