i have a major hair algae problem right now its a 375 gal tank its about 2 months used marco rock to set it up i have a yellow tang and a kole tang a rabbit and an algae blenny not even making a dent so i added two sea hares not sure what type kinda green and brown about 4 to 5 inches anyone know what type they are?i hope they will do the trick. i also have about 12 turbos 50 black foots and 50 cierth snails it looks like the sea hare is doing a good job on the sand not much on the rocks yet . so if you can let me know if these sea hares will do the trick...

One way to find out but if the algae is growing faster then they can eat I think you might have bigger problems other then the sea hares not eating algae fast enough.

no its kinda staying at its growth rate checked all my water parameters all good maybe its just still new tank syndrome? might add a couple of urchins as well... really did not want to add hermits might have to the only other thing i can think of is the temp went up to 87 for a few days chiller was broken i have a new one now anyone know what type of sea hares i have are again green and brownish ulgy suckers cool though...

87?! That is some hot water, everything was okay I hope? The best bet is to use some phosphate remover of some kind. Well the best thing would be to buy a phosphate reactor or RO/DI unit to purify the water if you want to splurge.
