what's the best way to grow sea lettuce? Can I put it in side by side with cheato?

not sure, I was hoping you can tell me the answer.

I just got a handfull from someone. Instead of feeding to my tangs, I was hoping to grow it in my sump and use it as a dietary treat.

They are actually beautiful if you can have a forest of them.

It shouldn't matter if you keep it with the chaeto. The problem is that the chaeto might overgrow and block out the lights which will kill them.

good point, i'm thinking maybe I can divide the fuge up with somem eggcrates

If you use eggcrates, use the black ones. A friend told me that someone told her that the white one has a tendency to leach stuff back into the tank.
