sea mats

I just got 2 big sea mat rocks and they will not open up i have moved them all around the tank and they will just not open up. I seem to have a problem in my tank with polyps and mushrooms everthing else does fine I need some advise.

what is your lighting? what are you water parameters?

How long have they been in your tank? they can take up to a week sometimes before they open fully.

by sea mats im assuming you mean GSP which just to let you know is not a LPS coral its a encrusing softie..

I would leave them be in a place w/ medium flow and wait, mine took about a week and a half to fully open.

I think that sea mat are zoos. Also not LPS.
