last night my tuxedo started relesing white stringy stuff out of a hole. can any one tell what this is?

It's his/her gametes. I think he likes your tank and thinks it's worthy to raise his children. I'm not sure if it takes two urchins to reproduce, but that's what he/she is trying to do.

Aw, that's cool. Yeah, you have a male urchin. You can also get them to release gametes by injecting them with potassium chloride.

It does take two, but if you had a female she would respond automatically. Usually you can get them to develop through to the first 3-4 stages of egg development without any special care.
