Seachem's Reef Salt mix bad?

Since I didn't get any response from the sponsor forum page, I thought I'd ask here if anyone else had similar experience as I did when mixing Seachem's Reef Salt mix.

Reef Salt mix turned milky white?

I made another batch last night and ended up with milky white salt water mix after an hour or mixing with a mag drive.

OK - that's one bag of Seachem's Reef Salt mix WASTED!

I use the same salt I have had the same problem when the water I am mixing is cold. But once the water warms up it turns clear. I prefer to mix mine about 24 hours before I use it that way it has time to stabilize.

Didn't used, but had read recently, that for some time supplier replaced on reagent by another, without notifying the head of company (I may be mistaken, fast reading here and there, you know). After that, the problem was fixed.

So, the manufacturer of the salt mix switch formulas without notifying the seachem. Do you know when they fixed the problem? I need to buy more salt but don't want to waste money on a bad salt mix. I bought two bags that same day. I might as well buy a new bag and test it out.

trojank - mine didn't clear up at all after several hours - even after two days on those two mixes.

I bought my Seachem salt in late March and had a similar issue. My water cleared up after about an hour of mixing although some undissolved solids remained at the bottom of the mixing bucket. I never had an issue adding the mixed water to my tank.
