in my old tank they did i had quite a bit of the hair abut didnt have any fish or anythin in there. it was my holding tank for food and after a week all of it was gone completely not sure if it was a fluke or what cause i know there also carnivorus too

pm me or let me know where ur bait shop is cause I would be interested in seeing them especially if they have yellow or red ones.

thanks!

Unless the rules have changed bait shops do not have the permits to sell decorative fish, only bait classified fish. So he should not be asking that much, they can charge a realistic price of capture only because they are suppose to release the rest back into the water as soon as they find it. Just FYI, LFS charge that much but a bait shop should be like 10-20% of LFS price. If I remember, they can get in some serious trouble.

hmm thats interesting i might have to talk to them about it i am due for anether bait run anyway thats good info id hate to seee them to get in any trouble . i saw on a website that blacks were like 40 bucks and yellows were like 70 or so but maby not the same species though
im sure if seriously interested they might come down but unsure cause i wasent interested just inquiring for yall

I had some gulf shrimp in my refugium..but they keep burying in the sand and causing general disruption and uprooting of teh macro-algae. I put them in my main tank..but the clowns and tangs ate them fast...then I found one that croaked but not before it caused a huge nutrient outbreak and algae bloom...so be carefull. I believe shrimp are loaded in phosphates. ...mtcw
