SOO, after all of this time I am deciding to do a build log on my current tank. Unfortunately, all of these pictures are from my phone, but I will be investing in a better camera soon.

I guess to show where I am is to explain where this tank has been. Some ups and downs for sure here.

Lets Fire up the hot tub time machine!!

Originally this tank was a transfer from my of 60gal cube back in 2013 you can see it on the left there

The tank then went into the wall right on the right...I wish I could find my original build pics but no luck.

Well all was great until my tank began to crash. Salinity was high, about 40ppt, so I began to work on dropping it. Got it down, and guess what, still crashing! So I ran another battary of tests. All looked perfect except Calcium that wasnt registering on the test kit. Ordered a new one and found out my Ca was at 850!!!!! So about a total of a 70% water change and here I am now. Lost about 20 SPS colonies, an RBTA, and a blue squamosa that I grew from 1in to about 3.5 in. Oh well, this thing tends to happen in this hobby and having gone through this before in my 15+ years of reefkeeping, its par for the course.

My fish also developed ICH and were completely wiped out. Sad time

Here's a video during, you can see STN all over...Algae all over....

So lets fast forward to present time

Recently I ditched the LEDs for an 6x80w ATI Sunpower and decided to wire up a strip of 25 Royal blue LEDs for some of that LED Blue POP everyone loves.

I also added some additional german to the tank with a GHL Profilux and GHL triple doser. I need some added security when I travel now...

Awesome, thanks. It has a steep learning curve for me, but overall I love the thing and I really haven't even broke ground on all it can do.

Finally was able to get it to send email alerts and connect to its webserver remotely.

Im excited to see what they do with myGHL

LOVE the way your remodel turned out!!!!!

Was that your idea or did someone help with the design and plan? Wow!

Oh, nice tank too:thumbsup:

Thank you! Just my wife and I. We watch too much HGTV lately haha....

I just cant wait for this sucker to grow out again. The ATI should do it :bounce2:

I need a good camera to start taking some macros, this Iphone isn't cutting it.

Can we jump in that time machine and see those frags in a year from now? Where's the DeLorean? I got a flux capacitor, no way am I getting in that hot tub.

When we were kids went in the hot tub at a racquetball club. A man got in tub with us and a minute later a buddy ran out, few seconds later the other kid took off with me not too far behind him. Chester the Molester got in the tub with us and tried playing footsie. I have never been in a DeLorean lol

Pulled all the sand out of the display last night, making sure to get all of the old nasty out.

Not sure if I want to add sand or just stay BB

If you decide to keep the sand you can just vacuum sections at a time to gets the nasties out.

Couple pics while I'm messing with this camera. These are untouched, just fooling around

No name (if you know it, let me know)

Unknown Tenuis (I have an itchy feeling this is going to be close in coloration to a certain coral named after a place in Orlando)

first one name is Sean's Tri Color Stag, I would easily drop a hundo, on a frag of three radial corallites, aka 1/4". Have to take another pic with the saturation turned up, before I buy it. That way I know it will look awesome in my tank.

My guess is it's a Formosa

Nice camera and pics, looking forward to seeing the pic progression as you dial that puppy in
