searching for blue coral

I want to add some bright blue to my tank, is there a low light blue coral of some sort that I can add to my 24g nano?

Thats true on the tubbs! Maybe we can get a bunch of folks to pool together and get on a 2 year wait and all have 1 polyp each!

How about a blue/red seafan? It looks purple with the blue polypse and red skin.

I will see. I just got it a few days ago so I want to let it acclimate a little. Remind me in a few weeks.

Wow. That is blue. Don't cut it before it's time, but put me on a list for a piece whenever. Where are some full tank shots, Phu?

Roy,

Something else you might be able to look into is challices and the like. They won't be as vibrant as Phu's seafan, but can add some red and oranges and bluish colors. Most are okay under PC's, but I'm not sure how well they hold color under PC's. Zoas are the best option, but I've heard that some of the blue zoas love tons of light, too. I can't think of much else blue... Maybe sponge, but they would likely be tricky to keep alive. Check out some LPS for different than normal colors under low to med light.

PHU, you better start a list here. OH MAN< I so want a piece of that.. Put me down when you decide to split it a bit.

Extremely specialized feeders phu. That's not a photosynthetic coral. Extremely difficult to keep alive long term. Unfortunately most starve to death within a year. If your running halides, i would try to keep it shaded. They come from much deeper water. Any algae on the tissue at all will kill it pronto. I have some very small micron golden pearls you could try if it starts to decline. Cyclopeeze is usually to large for the polyps. It will have to be target fed, unless you have her in a specialized display.
