Searching for information on breeding clown gobies.

I am very fond of clown gobies and have noticed in several places that they have been bred in captivity, but cannot find specific information on how to breed them. If I can find out how to breed them, I'd like to put my effort and time into giving it a try.

Does anyone have experience breeding any of the clown gobies (Gobiodon ceramensis, G. okinawae, G. atrangulatus, G. citrinus, etc. ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

The only place I know of that has bred them is ORA, but I don't know if they'd give up any trade secrets. Maybe you could try MOFIB or the Reef Stewardship Foundation (formerly known as Project DIBS)? They have forums and a cursory search for "gobiodon" showed some discussion on MOFIB's forums.

I wish you luck--they're adorable little fish. I managed to get a batch of the ORA-bred ones a couple of years ago, but apparently they're only available very sporadically now.

I raised G.okinawae, and now with the 2nd generation.Larvae were very small and hard to raise.Search the forums for details.;)
