securing rics

I would like to secure a few rics to a "Y" shaped piece of LR (6" long and and inch wide). Can I just secure them with a stocking (not too tight) and take the stocking off when they adhere? Thx:)

You can do what you're describing, but I'd definitely keep them in a low flow area. You might be better off placing the rics in a dish of reef rubble, let them attach with stocking over them to ensure they don't drift, then crazy glue the rock rubble to your Y shape of LR. (Just a suggestion) HTH

I dont know if i just got lucky, but mine attached on their own within a few hours. I turned off the pumps, and placed them where i wanted them and all three attached. Funny thing is that two of them were placed about 5 inches apart....now they are right next to each other.

Watch them when you kick on the pumps somtime they will grab ahold of what ever you place them on and later let go to explore the world.
Also watch and make sure they don't go to war with eachother two rics from two diffrent system that are not used to eachother toxins might be threatened by the other. and they might be gearing up to vomet on eachother which will surely kill them both. Just a heads up it rarely happens but be on the look out for 2-3 days. if they still snuggling after that then you good as gold.
