Sedra 3500 pump went out on my skimmer

anyone have a pump that will work in it's place. it is a sedra 3500. the impeller needs to be replaced i think. i tried messing with it and can get the pinwheel to almost move but just gets stuck again.

we'd have to leave first thing in the morning and be back by 2:10 to get my boys from school... probably not worth it, add in gas and it'll cost me around $90...

i rigged a maxijet 1200 in place of the Sedra. i have the water up to the start of the neck of the skimmer... the bubbles look like they have about 8 inches or so to climb to fill the collection cup... is this right or should i try to get the water to fill up higher

i saw that the sedra 3500 is rated at 350 gph the maxijet at 295 gph... will this be enough or am i just wasting electricity?

i guess the maxijet is not going to be enough... anyone have a pump that will work?
