Seeding tank with Copepods

I have a Red Sea reefer 28 gallon and want to know if it would be a good idea to add pods to the tank. I don't have s refugium so if have to add them to the main tank. I also have a diamond goby who I don't think gets enough food from sifting the sand. Would adding pods helps to keep him fed? Would this be good for a vacation so the fish have a steady supply of food?

no your goby won't be catching pods.. you can buy some algae waffers and toss those in. the goby will eat that
