Seio 620 not working??

I got a Seio 620 from CRA last Thursday. It has run OK for a day or so I think. When I started to really look at my tank I found out that it is not running at all. Took it out and disassembled it (why I did this I don't know just seemed like the thing to do) Put it back together and still nothing.. Any of you guys have any ideas why this new pump has stopped pumping? anything I can look at ot try? Thanks in advance..

When you say you took it apart, do you mean you removed screws? If not then I would contact seio and see about a replacement. If you took out the screws you might have issues with them on the warranty.

No I only disassembled the basic stuff , what the instructions show basically. Took out the impeller was as deep as I got.

does it sound like its running, but no water is moving? a little rattle to it? can you spin the impeller in both directions more than one turn?

I can feel the housing and it seems to be running, no rattle tho' and no water moving.
I cannot spin the impeller at all.

have you tried unscrewing the cap a lil bit? i did that to one of mine and it started working
