SEIO coming out with a wavmaker??

Talked to my LFS owner yesterday and he said something about SEIO having a wave maker device soon that does not shut them off but varies the speed of the SEIO power heads sounds sweet anyone have any info or truth to this??

That is good news. It would be nice if they can fix the restarting problem. There are times we must shut down these pumps for repairs, maintenance, cleaning the tank or even a possible power outage. Just my opinion for what it is worth.

I have word it will be out around the same time as the 1" SCWD. Wow, what a battle for our wavemaker dollars that will be.

I think if they come out with a wavemaker, they will probably have to come out with new Seios that will work with it. I think the wavemaker would have to send less voltage to the pump to get it to work at 30% of peak power, and I don't know that the pumps are currently made to work that way. Of course, I could be wrong... just a guess.
