....i basically possess a strong and attractive personality. I usually fall into two principle categories: one shy, sensitive, gentle and patient; the other exuberant, lively and exhibitionist, sometimes hiding the considerable depths of my character under a cloak of frivolity. Either way, i am strong willed and forceful and have strong convictions, though as i seek truth above all things, i am usually honest enough to change my opinions, however firmly held, if evidence comes to light which persuades me that they have been mistaken. i have a breadth of vision that brings diverse factors into a whole, and can see both sides of an argument. I like the Quaker exhortation to "Be open to truth, from whatever source it comes," and i am prepared to learn from everyone.
I am humane, frank, serious minded, genial, refined, sometimes ethereal, and idealistic, though this last quality is tempered with a sensible practicality. i am quick, active and persevering without being self-assertive, and express myself with reason, moderation and sometimes, a dry humor.
i believe myself to be intelligent, concise, clear and logical. i am imaginative and psychically intuitive. However, with my philosophical and spiritual bent, it may be dangerous in that it can sometimes drive me into an ivory-tower existence where i meditate on abstractions that bear little relevance to life. On the other hand, when some cause or work inspires me, i am capable of such devotion to it that i have a tendancy to drive myself to the point of exhaustion and even risk injuring my health.
In any case...there is a sensitivity to me that is often not seen because i live life on the edge...and freely, and try to be as happy as i can.
Today, someone took advantage of that. And it's keeping me awake.
