We bought it in foreclosure from a bank 5 years ago and we redid almost the entire house. 100% new paint on all walls and ceilings (we have lots of high ceilings), 100% new flooring in the entire house, 4 bedrooms of new carpet with berber carpet in the master suite, about 2000 sq feet of brazilian walnut flooring, a rubber tile floor in our gym, lots of new tiles (18 x 18 tiles in the foyer and guest bathroom, 12 x 24 tiles in the front bedroom bathrooms with new vanity, we redid the entire kitchen (all new stainless, high end kitchenaid appliances, Caesarstone countertops, glass tile backsplash, 14 CREE LR6 LED's and under cabinet LEDs. I did the pondless waterfall in the back and we did lots of gardening and built a nice paver stone rasied flower bed and herb garded. We put in an invisible fence and the white vinyl fence in the back, we replaced a lot of windows, have a brand new timberline roof and 4 new skylights in 2012, a brand new garage door opener with battery backup, I had a double sink installed in the basement next to my sump setup and a water pressure sump backup. So it was a lot of work and a lot of money, even doing 90% of the work myself. We want a bigger back yard so we can have a huge playset for our kids and a pool and hot tub.

The woman who had the house built passed away (not in the house) and her family moved in and destroyed the place. There weren't holes in the walls or things missing but the carpets and walls were filthy, so the bank paid for the cheapest paint job ever and a guy came in here and sprayed a really crap sandy flat paint with tons of overspray on everything. It was so filthy that I replaced most of the light switches and outlets with the screwless nice designer switches and outlets, all the baseboards i replaced with slightly taller ones to look more modern.

It was fun transforming the home and the main living space really has a nice open, modern, and clean feel, so it just feels good hanging in the open space. We live on a great and quiet cul de sac and the nieghbors were all blown away by the work we did. Our next door neighbor is trying to get her husband to buy our house but he wants to retire next year, so he isn't having it, since our house is about 1000 sq ft bigger.

The best part about the tank is that you can see it from the kitchen table and pretty much everyone in the main living area, but it's just perfectly positioned to appreciate it from the couch during commercials or whenever you just tile your head to the side 45 degrees but the light doesn't interfere with movie time and it's nearly silent, since all the equipment is in the basement.

The neighborhood is awesome. It's so quite in the business park and they keep it immaculate and very well maintained and beautiful during the holidays with great lights. We are about 1/5th of a mile away from wegmans, very close to main street and of course 1.5 miles from all the big box stores on transit. I can get to the airport down youngs rd in about 7-8 minutes in off hours, which means I can get to ARC in that amount of time, LoL. We often walk to main street to the pancake house or island or garrison park etc...

Wow, nice looking modern house. Did you guys fix her up that way, or did you buy it like that?

Why are you selling? Thats a beautiful house, you did a great job and should be proud!

If its still on the market in a year when i graduate (doubt it!) i will be looking :)

There's only 1 reason I'm selling; I need bigger and more tanks! LoL. We have 2 children now and we want a swimming pool. My wife went to college on a swimming scholarship.

It's actually a great and quiet location and we love living there but we want room for a pool, a huge play-set, and even more room for our dogs.
