Sequnce dart for return pump

I've got a snapper which is just a bit less flow than the dart. Great little pumps they draw less watts than a light bulb! I just wish they would make the inlet 1.5" or even 1" a 2" inlet is stupid.

I am not familiar with a snapper, is it made by Sequence? Where did you get it?
I am looking for a quiet pump for my prop system and the Dart is a little too big.

Yeah the snapper is from sequence, a.k.a. reeflo nowadays.
They are strong little pumps, I think feeding your swirls will be fine, I have mine pushing 15 feet of pipe to the chiller then 15 feet back then up 3 feet to the spraybar, I figure I'm getting around 1200 g.p.h. this way. I used 1.5" pvc entirely i think that helps the flow on these guys.

speckled......I got the pumps from the manufacture, they are in colorado springs, about a half hour from me, so that helps:) I would imagine some of the larger distributors are stocking them now, its a new pump for them though, just came out

I have a dart on a return for my 180. I think your application will be fine for a dart. I also have another dart that pumps the closed loop.

I use a sequence dart to feed two 1 inch sea swirls from my sump. My unscientific analysis (putting my hand in front of the outlet) says it is more powerful than the amp master 3000 that it replaced

Stephen you just can't stay away from reef tanks. Good luck with your new one.
