Seriatopora spawning?

I've noticed over the past day or so, small, globular balls forming on the branches. They're kind of fleshy looking and show some movement in the flow. Looks like they're growing from under the skin of the coral, looks like on some of them, the polyps are attached to the ball that's growing.

I've had the piece since last November I guess and it's growing crazy fast, always great color, etc.

I'll try to get some pics of what I'm talking about, but my curiosity has the best of me.

Seriatopora can brood planulae.

Good article, I had my suspicions but didn't know for sure. I'll try to keep tabs if / when it happens.
