Serious eye trauma in A. Tang

I posted several days ago about my Achilles Tang's cloudy eye. It has gotten much worse. I have no idea what has happened but it almost looks now as if he has a hole in the lens covering his eye. I have seen both my fire shrimp and my cleaner wrasse picking at the eye; in fact the tang will move close and try to get them to clean it.

I have taken a picture of it. Any ideas?

I can still see the eye ball, so that's good. I have had a powder blue tang that went through the same thing. It took over a month to completely heal and its eye was way worse than your achillies'. Just give it time and maintain good water quality, and it should heal on its own.
